English cream miniature Dachshund puppies for sale are $2500 for male and female pet home puppies. Puppies are primarily Shaded Creams, but we also produce black and creams and brindle creams from time to time.  For full AKC registration $3,500 upon being approved by me.

The Limberlost Adoption Process

We take great pride in placing our puppies in the best possible homes. To ensure a perfect match, our adoption process is as follows:

  • Initial Inquiry: We require a personal phone interview for all potential adopters. Please contact Daniel at 517-290-2615 to begin the approval process.

  • Waiting List: Once approved, you may join our waitlist with a $200 deposit. To ensure your financial security, checks are held and only cashed once you have officially selected your puppy.

  • Selection & Progress: We work closely with you to select a puppy that meets your preferences for sex and appearance. Once matched, we will provide your puppy’s identification color so you can follow their growth and milestones through our weekly Facebook updates.

  • Commitment: To maintain a fair and active waiting list, clients who pass on a litter that meets their specific criteria must select a puppy from the subsequent litter to retain their position.

What is Included with Your Puppy

Every Limberlost puppy is raised with a focus on health and a seamless transition to your home. Your puppy will arrive with:

  • Health Security: Age-appropriate vaccinations, a comprehensive deworming regimen, and preventative treatments.

  • Professional Clearance: A health record and certificate from our specialized canine reproductive veterinarian.

  • Essential Supplies: A contract of sale (Pet Standards), a sample of Royal Canin puppy food, and a scented blanket to aid in settling.

  • Flight Readiness: For puppies requiring air travel, we can provide all necessary health certificates and paperwork for a $50 fee.

Please note: Puppies must be picked up within three days of their scheduled departure date. A boarding fee of $20/day applies thereafter unless prior arrangements are confirmed.

With over 13 years of experience, we are dedicated exclusively to the Longhaired Miniature English Cream Dachshund. Our program is defined by:

  • Authentic Lineage: Our dogs descend from true United Kingdom stock, with pedigrees that trace directly back to their English origins.

  • Structural Excellence: We compete in AKC Conformation shows, ensuring our dogs possess the sound build, movement, and health intended for the breed.

  • Advanced Veterinary Care: Unlike standard programs, we utilize a canine reproductive specialist for all evaluations and wellness checks.

  • Intentional Socialization: We raise only 3–4 litters per year. Our puppies are house-trained by imprinting on the outdoors—not pee pads—and are heavily socialized from their first movements to ensure a confident, fear-free temperament.

About the Breed

Miniature Dachshunds are versatile companions, thriving in both urban and rural settings. They are active, intelligent, and famously loyal.

  • Health: Maintaining a healthy weight and consistent exercise is vital for spinal health (IVDD prevention).

  • Grooming: The Longhaired variety requires light grooming and is not a heavy shedder.

  • Longevity: With proper care, these companions typically live 12–14+ years.

  • Standard: According to AKC standards, we prioritize balanced, bold, and confident dogs. Please note that “Double Dapple” patterns are not recognized and are not part of our breeding program.
