We purchased our puppy, Dixie, from Limberlost in the summer of 2021. I’ve owned other dachshunds before and love them, but Dixie is BY FAR the best tempered, sweetest and softest of any that I’ve owned. The breeder is extremely knowledgeable on the breed and the puppy we received was exactly what they said we would get in terms of quality, and temperament. He works with them so much even before coming home, that we were very impressed with Dixie’s intelligence and quick learning ability too compared to others we owned in the past.I interviewed several breeders and did my own research as well and felt the most confident in Limberlost and appreciated all the care and energy he pours into his dogs. I would buy 10 dogs from him if my husband would let me! Highly recommend Limberlost as a great, responsible breeder choice.

We had an excellent experience with Daniel when we adopted our puppy. He was very thorough during the application process to find quality homes for the puppies. He was open to answering any questions we had whether it was before or after our puppy adoption. Daniel is very knowledgeable on raising dachshunds. We brought home Riley and she has been the sweetest baby. We would definitely consider adopting another one from Limberlost Exotics.
